John Anthony Best

He was born December 3, 1958 in Munchweiler, Germany and came to Brooksville 48 years ago from Brooklyn, New York.  He worked as a restaurant manager for Golden Corral for many years and was Christian by faith.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph R. Best.  He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Best; his sons, Robert Best of Holiday, Florida and Anthony Best of Brooksville, Florida; his daughters and son-in-law, Ashley & Nathaniel Webster of Wesley Chapel, Florida and Ashley Best of Tampa, Florida; his mother, Matilda Best; brother and sister-in-law, Joe & Christine Best of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Khaylee Kneiss and William Webster; niece, Stephanie Schneider (Kenny) and great-nephews, Joseph Schneider and Gabriel Schneider.

A Gathering for family and friends will be held from 1:00-2:00pm, Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where a Memorial Service will begin at 2:00pm, with Pastor Cannon officiating.
