Johnny David Davidson Sr.

Born May 8, 1952 in Kettering, Ohio, he was the son of the late David G. and Ida May (Rasnic) Davidson.  He came to Brooksville 35 years ago from Xenia, Ohio, worked as a truck driver, and was Pentacostal by faith.  He loved scratch off tickets, playing with toys, and singing karaoke.  

He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Johnny David Davidson Jr.; and brother, Jack Davidson.  He is survived by his wife, Adita "Sue" May Davidson; his sons and daughter-in-law, Daryl & Jenn Davidson and Ricky Davidson, all of Brooksville, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Angel & Allen Turner of Weeki Wachee, Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe & Val Davidson of Bushnell, Florida, James Davidson of Port Richey, Florida, and Jake & Janice Davidson of Brooksville, Florida; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm, Monday, January 31, 2022 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where Funeral Services begin at 12:00pm, with Jake Davidson officiating.
