ROSSI, Louis E. died May 19, 2010 peacefully at home in Highpoint, Brooksville, FL ending his courageous battle with leukemia at the age of 79. Born in Canastota, NY, Louie has been a Florida resident since 2003. He retired as a CM Sergeant in the USAF and was a civilian retiree of the USAF. He is survived by his loving wife: JoAnn, 3 daughters, 2 sons, adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a member of Highpoint Mobile Patrol and HP Social Club. His passions were hunting and fishing and spending time with friends and family. The family will receive friends between 9:30 – 10:30am at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel on Monday, May 24, 2010. A funeral mass will follow at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to HPH Hospice or Highpoint Fire Dept.
