He was born October 1, 1946 in Portsmouth, Ohio and came to Brooksville 26 years ago, but has lived in Florida since 1974. He was a United States Navy veteran and an adjuster for 35 years with State Farm Insurance.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Larry P. & Gladys G. Preston and his sister, Rebecca Preston Carlton. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Aaron & Jennifer Preston of Decatur, Georgia and Adam & Katelyn Preston of North Ridgeville, Ohio; two grandchildren: Isabella and Hannah Preston.
