LYONS, Nathan Franklin, 76, of Spring Hill, Florida died Saturday, January 21 2017 at James A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa. He was born in Dink, West Virginia and came to the area 27 years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a coal miner. He was a member of the Masonic Strange Creek Lodge #130 in Strange Creek West Virginia and founder and chief of the volunteer fire department in Buckhannon, West Virginia. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #521 in Spring Hill. He is survived by wife of 17 years: Marion of Spring Hill, FL; step-son: Frank and his wife, Mina Wesolowski of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters and son-in-law: Connie Bennett of West Virginia; Christine and Tim Brown of GA; step-daughter and son-in-law: Deborah and Edwin Medina of Spring Hill; brothers: Jake and John Lyons; sisters: Judy Carpenter, Carolyn Dennison and Linda Lyons, all of West Virginia; 9 grandchildren.
