Paul Stewart

He was born February 6, 1925 in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey and came to this area in 1985 from Clifton, New Jersey.  He was a Master Sergeant in the United States Army for 26 years.  He was a member of the Purple Heart Association and lifetime member of the VFW of Shady Hills and the American Legion of New Jersey.  He was a member of Grace World Outreach Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Stewart; sons and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Catherine Stewart of New Jersey, Greg Stewart of New Jersey, Geoffrey Stewart of Bloomingdale, New Jersey; daughter, Tanya Stewart of Spring Hill, Florida.

Visitation for friends will be 10:00am-11:00am, Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where funeral services will begin at 11:00am with Rev. Richard Metheny officiating. Interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery at 12:30pm with honors.
