Rebecca "Becky" Ann Deal

Rebecca "Becky" Ann Deal, born on September 10, 1971, in Brooksville Florida, passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 54. Becky was a compassionate individual whose warmth touched the lives of many.

Becky graduated from Hernando High School in 1989 and pursued further education at Owensboro Community & Technical College. She also attended the Salvation Army Training College in Atlanta, Georgia, which reflected her commitment to service and community.

Her career was marked by dedication and versatility. After graduation, Becky worked for Hernando County School Board, handling the switchboards. She had six years of service with the Salvation Army, until she went on to serve as an information operator for AT&T for nine years. Her professional journey also included roles at Green River Intra-county Transportation and Alorica Inc as a customer service representative.

In her personal time, Becky was known for her love of cats and her caring nature towards stray cats, embodying her compassionate spirit.

Becky is survived by her brother, Larry Deal, and her stepsister, Mary Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sandra Deal and James Deal.

Becky will be remembered fondly for her compassion and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.
