She was born July 13, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky and came to Spring Hill 24 years ago. She was an exceptionally dedicated homemaker with devotion to her family throughout her life. She was Catholic by faith.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Sam Whitehead; her son and daughter-in-law, Sean & Carmen of Alexandria, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law, Steve & Jan Rayburn of Louisville, Kentucky; sister and brother-in-law, Betty & Earl Babbitt of Louisville, Kentucky; and her granddaughter, Samantha Lucia Whitehead.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00-5:00pm, Saturday, December 19, 2020 and 2:00-5:00pm, Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill, Chapel, where Funeral Service will take place at 1:00pm, Monday, December 21, 2020. Burial will follow Services at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens.
