

He was born October 28, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio and graduated with a Bachelors Degree from the University of Toledo. Mr. Borden was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant and a manager in the leather industry. He was an avid golfer, sportsman, a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 60 years, a lifelong Republican, and a member of Christ the Savior Greek Orthodox Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years: Paula Borden; sons and daughters-in-law: John and Vicky Borden of Rye, New Hampshire and Robert and Martha Borden of Falmouth, Massachusetts; daughters: Anne Borden and her husband, Larry of Kittery Point, Maine and Michele "Mickey" and Bruce Perry of Nantucket, Massachusetts; brother and sister-in-law: Harold and Arlene Borden of Michigan; three grandchildren.
A Gathering for family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00am, Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, where a Memorial Service with military honors will begin at 11:00am.
