Robert W. Chamberlain

CHAMBERLAIN,  Robert W., 75 of Spring Hill died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. Born in Providence, RI he and his wife came to this area in 1980 from Cranston, RI when he retired after 22 years with General Electric Wiring in Providence .  He later retired from Auto Trader Publication of Clearwater, FL in 2002. Robert was the beloved husband of Avis R. (Barrie) Chamberlain for over 46 years and a dear and devoted father of Catherine (DiCenzo) Jones and her husband Scott A. of Spring Hill and Paul A. DiCenzo and his wife Kelly of Warwick, RI. He is also survived by his sisters: Lilian Caracciolo of Venice, FL and Joan Cabral & her husband Honorio “Rico” of Debary, FL and brother: Norman Chamberlain and his wife Joan of Jacksonville, FL. He was a loving grandfather to his two granddaughters: Amanda (Clas) Spencer and her husband Matthew of Spring Hill & Christina DiCenzo of Warwick, RI and also a devoted great grandfather to Cody M., Logan J. and Alexis C. Spencer of Spring Hill. Robert loved the time spent with his numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. A memorial service will take place at 2:00pm Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert’s name to HPH Hospice-Sturgill Facility, 12242 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34613.
