He was a retired Police Dispatcher and member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife: Miriam; sons: Scott Sweeney of Spring Hill, Steven Sweeney of Huntsville, AL and Sean Sweeney of Windham, NH; daughter: Sheryl Mignanelli of Spring Hill; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 9:30am to 10:30am Monday, April 13, 2009 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. A funeral mass will follow at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Fr. Anthony Coppola officiating.
