Born January 19, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of the late Raymond and Theresa (Keeler) Keaton. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was an educator for the 6th grade, a member of the Brooksville Wesleyan Church, and he enjoyed camping.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Karen Keaton; sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth & Heidi Keaton of Roseville, California, David Keaton of Illinois, and Gary Keaton of West Palm Beach, Florida; and seven grandchildren.
