He came to this area in 1974 from his native Massachusetts and was the owner & operator of a mechanic business, was a Mason and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his sons: Robert “Bub” E. Purchase, Jr. of Kentucky, Robert “Bobby” E. Purchase III of Lakeland, FL, Robert “Robby” E. Purchase IV of Brooksville, FL; daughter: Erica Purchase of Brooksville, FL; brother: Richard Purchase of Lutz; sister: Carolyn Osborne of Odessa, FL and 2 grandchildren.
