Royce Ray Washington

WASHINGTON, R. Ray, 76 years old, of Brooksville, Florida died on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. He was born in Linden, Texas and came to the area in 1996 from Tampa, FL. He was a real estate developer and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Spring Lake.  He is survived by his wife: Patricia of Brooksville, FL; daughter and son-in-law: Carol Jo and Larry Hernandez of San Antonio, TX; brother: Larry Washington of Rockport, TX; sisters: Janet Smith of Rockport, TX; Carolyn Morris and Faye Sapp, both of San Antonio, TX; granddaughter: Amber Leigh Wyatt; nieces, nephews, and their children. In keeping with his wishes, a summary of his life is not necessary for those who knew him. May it simply be said that he loved much and was much loved. He was a source of solid strength, encouragement, wit and wise counsel to those who knew him.

“For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
