CASTO, Samuel Pickering, age 80 of Brooksville, died Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Bayfront Health Brooksville. Born in St. Albans, WV he came here 20 years ago from Coral Springs, FL. He was a program manager, retiring after 30 years, with IBM. Mr. Casto was a U.S. Navy Veteran and Protestant by faith. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Theda; daughter & son-in-law: Amy & Frank Gillis of Brooksville and grandchildren Megan & Heather Gillis. Military honors will be conducted 1:00pm, Wed., Oct. 12, 2016 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
