BAXTER, Sue Carolyn, age 72 of Spring Hill died Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. Born in Dunedin, FL, she came to Spring Hill in 1985. She worked for the State as of Driver’s License Examiner and was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Patch. She also was a member of the Rainbow Girls. Survivors include her brother: Rufus Leroy Baxter, Jr.; sister: Patricia K. Jacobs; nieces: Rainey Jacobs Helton & Merry Baxter; great nephew: Nicholas Baxter and numerous cousins. Visitation for family & friends will be 2-3pm Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where a funeral service will take place at 3pm. Burial will take place 2pm Monday, February 23, 2015 at Curlew Pioneer Cemetery, Palm Harbor.
