Sybble Faye Selph

SELPH, Sybble Faye, age 88 of Brooksville, while surrounded by her children was peacefully promoted into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on October 18, 2021.  Born in Coeburn, Virginia, to Carl and Luvenia Bond, the family moved to Brooksville when she was a teenager.  Upon marrying Harold E. Selph in 1955, the family would return to Brooksville to raise their five children.  

Mrs. Sybble is survived by all five of her children; Walter “Buddy” Selph (Debbie Dawson Selph), Lester Selph (Bernadette Selph), Wesley Selph (Lisa Selph), Denise Vitale (Darin Vitale), and  Dwayne Selph and his wife (Anna Selph) as well as 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two loving sisters Illma Sullivan and Sylvia Adams, and a host of nieces and nephews who adore her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Eden Baptist Church on Sunday, October 24.  Viewing from 1:30 – 2:00 pm and service beginning at 2:00.  Immediately following the service, we will transition to the Lake Lindsey Cemetery for graveside prayers, and return to the Eden Hall for fellowship.
