He was born in Kansas City, Missouri and came to the area 20 years ago from Kansas City, Kansas. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a skilled worker in the construction industry.
He is survived by his wife: Karen Patterson of Spring Hill, Florida; sons: Eric Patterson; Christopher Kyle Patterson; step-son: William Colello, III; daughter: Chasity Williams; one grandchild: Emily Kay Patterson and numerous cousins.
