JOY, Thomas N., age 84 of Brooksville went home to be with Jesus Feb 20, 2005. Thomas was born Aug. 24, 1920 in Elizabeth, W VA. Son of the late Floyd & Cynthia(Bishop) Joy. He was a retired Boiler Maker, loved the outdoors, liked to hunt & fish.Mr. Joy was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Dorothy Joy, a son, Mark Joy, a step-son, Jimmy Rodriguez and a grand son, Jerry Morin.Survivors include his 2 Sons: Thomas, Jr. of Chicago, IL and Norman of VA; 1 Step-son: Eddy Rodriguez of Tampa, FL;3 Daughters: Martha Bell of Elizabeth, W VA, Jean Wilson of Brooksville and Mary Tabler of S.C.; 2 Brothers: Arthur Joy of Cedar Grove, W VA and Cecil Joy of Washington, W VA; 3 Sisters: Myrtle Younglove of Tampa, FL, Rosella Nutter of Culloden, W VA and Ina of CA; 12 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 4-8pm, Tues., Feb. 22, 2005 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm, Wed., Feb. 23, 2005 at the Lake Lindsey Cemetery.
