Thomas H. Ryan

He was born March 26, 1945 in Bennington, VT.  He was the son of the late Henry J. and Martha (Weeks) Ryan.  Tom received his early education at Saint Francis de Sales Academy in Bennington and was a 1963 graduate of Bennington Catholic High School.  He married the former Jean Hurley October 24, 1970 at Saint Francis de Sales Church in Bennington. Jean died June 2, 2003. 

Survivors include his daughter: Jennifer Ryan of North Bennington; grandsons: Ryan DeCell of Myrtle Beach, SC and Olin Daniels of North Bennington, VT; sisters: Katherine Crawford of Spring Hill, FL and Martha Gillespie and her husband Charlie of Lakeland, FL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Friends may join the family for a Memorial Service at The Moose Lodge at 5214 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL from 2-4pm on Sunday, April 29, 2018. 

If friends desire, contributions in memory of Thomas H. Ryan may be made to

either the Jean Ryan Scholarship Fund or the Vermont Heart Association (Strokes) through the office of 

Mahar and Son Funeral Home 628 Main St. Bennington, VT 05201.
