
HORSLEY, Tip Alonzo, Jr., age 74 of Spring Hill passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at his home. Born in Tarrant County, TX he came to this area in 1995 from St. Louis, MO. He was a retired Colonel from the U.S. Army and member of the Elks Lodge in Denver, CO, the NRA, Retired Officer Association, was a Boy Scout Troop Leader and substitute math teacher in Pasco County, worked in the Church music program and was a member of Shady Hills United Methodist Church. He was predeceased by his daughter: Catherine Jane Horsley, brother: William & sister: Frances MacDonald. Survivors include his wife: Martha Rose Horsely; sons & daughters-in-law: Raymond T. & Crystal Horsley of Aurora, CO, John M. & Jane Rose of Indianapolis, IN and William Horsley, II of Shady Hills, FL; daughters: Eileen Michaele Bullock of New Port Richey, FL & Dr. Betsy Horsley Britz, MD of Denver, CO; brother: Patrick Horsley of Texas; grandchildren: Samantha & Mallory Britz, Jacob & Joseph Horsley, Nikita Dawn, San & Jessie Bullock and Paul, Rachel, Mary & Melissa Smith and great grandson: James Walter Hass. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Shady Hills United Methodist Church.
