He was born on January 9, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa and attended Theodore Roosevelt High School.
William had a very successful and long career being a computer programmer and had a passion for the water.
William Daughrity is survived by his children, Amanda Scott, William Scott, Lauren Thomas, Cody Singleton, and Danielle Singleton. William is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00-4:00pm, Friday, February 20, 2026 at Merritt Funeral Home (2 South Lemon Avenue, Brooksville FL 34601), where Funeral Services begin at 4:00pm.
A Celebration of Life will be held at William’s residence the following day, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 1:00pm.
