Bertha Rozier White

Bertha Rozier White, age 57, of Brunswick, died Monday, April 20, 2015. Bertha was born in Darien, GA to Calvin and Jeanette Rozier. She enjoyed fishing and being outdoors but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Rozier.

She is survived by her husband, Otis Lamar White of Brunswick; three sons, Johnny White (Angel) and his children Gaven and Grayson, Stephen Ray White and his children Stephen, Nicholas and Madison, Donald Lamar White and his daughter, McKenzie, all of Brunswick; two step-sons, Charles Lamar White (Linda) and their daughter, Brandy, and Richard Michael White, all of Brunswick; two step-daughters, Deborah Nichols of Gardi and her daughter, Anna and Teresa Ross (Leo) and their children, Brian and Christy, all of Brunswick; five sisters, Irma Rowe, Diane O’Steen (Homer) and Nancy Teston, all of Darien, Ivy Holland of Jesup and Christine Schonfeld(Klaus) of St. Simons Island.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Whaley officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.

The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff of Hospice of the Golden Isles for caring for Bertha during her illness.
