Beverly was born in Waycross, Georgia the daughter of the late Curtis Donald Tripp and the late Lucy Meryl Alday Tripp. She was a 1991 graduate of Wayne County High School and received her Associates in Nursing at Waycross College. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse with Aveanna Home Care. Beverly was a very compassionate and caring nurse. She also had a great sense of humor and was full of life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed drawing, traveling, and watching movies. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish Beverly’s memories are her husband, Frank “Buck” Fortner of Brunswick, GA; her three daughters, Brooke Chancellor of Waycross, GA, Tara Tatum and Caitlin Fortner both of Brunswick, GA; one son Dalton Manning of Jesup, GA; four precious grandchildren that she loved dearly, Grant Chancellor, Bristol Conway, Delilah Manning and Lilli Perkins. Six siblings, several nieces, and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends between 3:00 – 4:00 PM Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick. A memorial service to celebrate Beverly’s life that was well lived will begin at 4:00 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
