Bobby Ray Carlile

Bobby Ray Carlile, 84, of Brunswick, departed this life Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Harborview Satilla in Waycross. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Thursday, May 30, 2024 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Brent Steel, Bill Brinkley, and Wayne Jones officiating.

Born Mary 28, 1939 in Helena, Alabama to the late Willie and Julia Irene B. Carlile, he was a US Air Force Veteran and retired from the US Postal Service. He had been a resident of Glynn County since 2006. Mr. Carlile was a member of Carteret Road Church of Christ. He enjoyed reading, fishing, telling stories, and gardening.

Survivors include his wife of 65 Years, Barbara Carlile of Brunswick, three children, Larry Carlile of Savannah, Paula Stratton and husband Al of Chester, VA, and Brenda Baldwin and husband Brian of Mt. Juliet, TN, five grandchildren, Virginia Spain and husband Ray, William Stratton and wife Madeline, Jamie Baldwin, Nina Carlile, Cooper Baldwin, and two great grandsons, Jason and Sean Spain.
