Brenda Joyce Barbee Bullard

Brenda Joyce Barbee Bullard, 72, of Brunswick, died at Hospice of the Golden Isles on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Smith officiating. The family will host a visitation one hour prior to the service 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Chapel Park Cemetery. Serving active pallbearers will be Mrs. Bullard’s sons and grandsons, James Earl Bullard, George Leon Bullard, Christopher Brian Bullard, Terrance Edwin Bullard, Bradford Davis Bullard, Benjamin Tyler Bullard, and Griffin Michael Bramer.

Honorary pallbearers are Lee and Ydoine Davis, E. S. Jr. and Barbara Ray, J.W. Sapp and Anna Dean, Sylvia Smith, and Sandee Woods.

Brenda was born July 31, 1941 to Edwin Earl Barbee and Laura Louise Smith in Laurens County, SC. She moved to Brunswick in 1961 from Madison, GA. She was a member of Arco Baptist Church.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Earl Barbee.

She is survived by her husband, George L. Bullard Sr., her children, James Earl Bullard (Sonja) of Cumming, GA, George Lee Bullard, Jr. (Rachel) of McDonough, GA, Christopher Brian Bullard and Terrance Edwin Bullard, both of Brunswick. Brenda is also survived by seven grandchildren; Bradford Davis Bullard, Benjamin Tyler Bullard, Baileigh Elizabeth Bullard, Kennedy Bramer, Griffin Michael Bramer, Ann Patrick, and Rayelyn Elise Bullard, amd many other extended family members.

The family requests that memorials in Brenda’s honor be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525 or to the American Cancer Society of Brunswick, 3011 Hampton Ave, Brunswick, GA 31520.
