C. N. Croft, 90, of Jekyll Island, departed this life Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at SGHS Brunswick. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Monday, March 18, 2024, in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Crandall officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.
Born March 20, 1933, in Pavo, Georgia to the late Warner and Valda G. Croft, he was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1952. He was also a graduate from Georgia Southern University. Mr. Croft was a US Army Veteran and member of the Brunswick Elks Club. He had been a resident of Glynn County since 1952 and became a School Counselor and worked for Glynn County and McIntosh County School Systems. He was a former member of First Baptist Church of Brunswick and member of Jekyll Island Baptist Church. Mr. Croft was also an avid reader.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years Billie Croft of Jekyll Island, a son, Eric Croft (Connie) of Brunswick, a grandson Tyler Croft (Devan Hagler) of St Simons Island, several nieces, and nephews.
