

She was born June 30, 1945 in Jacksonville Florida. Mrs. Dickey was widowed after 38 years of marriage to her first love. It was her strong faith in GOD that gave her strength and assurance that their separation was only temporary. She was a wonderful mother who has one daughter Trurenna that meant everything to her. Caroline’s biggest joy was spending time with her. She loved nature especially the beach. Caroline was a huge animal lover and cared for countless homeless dogs and cats until they found permanent homes. She volunteered with K. & C. Pet Rescue for 17 years. She also enjoyed decorating, plants, shopping and going out to restaurants and staying active.
Mrs. Dickey is proceeded in death by her beloved husband Onnie D. Dickey Jr. her parents Lucious O’Malley (Jack) Tuttle and Thelma F. Tuttle, grandfather Noah B. Altman and sister Mildred Swanwick. She leaves behind her beloved daughter Trurenna Dickey of Jacksonville (who will miss her every day until we are reunited in Heaven); her like a 2nd daughter, Christy Stewart (Ferrell) from Glen St. Mary, Florida; her precious babies (dogs) Dixie and Squiggy and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held March 9th at 2PM at Palmetto Cemetery, 3412 Ross Rd. Brunswick Georgia 31520.
In lieu of flowers a memorial gift can be made in Caroline Dickey’s name to K. & C. Pet Rescue and Adoption Soc. P.O. 399, Glen St. Mary, Fl. 32040.
