Colleen was born in St. Joseph, MO on June 15, 1926 to the late William and Hazel McKinney. She was married to the late Vern Taylor and was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, Herman McKinney, sister Shirley Schweder, and a step-son, Lonnie Taylor. She is survived by her step-son, Rodney Taylor; sister Mary Wion, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Topeka, KS.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, Georgia 30346.
