Danny spent most of his adult life in retail management, but in his early adulthood, he was involved with traveling Christian ministry teams throughout the United States and Canada, doing what he loved, playing piano and singing. At the time of his death, he was the pianist for his local church. Besides his love of music, he loved his puppies and his family.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Alice Ferrell and a brother, David Allen Ferrell. He is survived by a sister, Vicki Ferrell Goodrich (Thomas) of Brunswick, Georgia; brothers, Dusty Ferrell (Kathy) of Atlanta, Georgia, Bill Ferrell (Deborah) of Darien, Georgia; four nieces, Heather Blankenship, Allison Ferrell, Sarah and Maggie Tarplee; five nephews, Jeremy Goodrich, Jarred Ferrell, Justin Ferrell, Ashley Ferrell, Jonathan Tarplee; and several great nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2015, followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., with Reverend Jon Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. Andrews Cemetery in Darien, Ga. Dusty Ferrell, Bill Ferrell, Jeremy Goodrich, Jarred Ferrell, Justin Ferrell, and Ashley Ferrell serving pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Stewart and Gary Gault.
