Daniel Lamar Floyd, 60, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away Friday, the 20th of August 2021 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick, Georgia.

Daniel was born the 25th of October 1960 in Douglas, Georgia to Lowell Franklin Floyd and Patricia Ann Johnson Floyd.

Daniel is preceded in death by his grandparents Frank and Lounette Johnson & Roy and Katiemarie Floyd, also by sister in law Julie Floyd.

Survivors include his parents, Lowell and Patricia Ann Floyd, loving wife of 30 years, Stacy Floyd, and sons Patrick Floyd (Crystal) , Eric Floyd (Erin), Dustin Floyd (Erica) as well as 7 grandchildren all of Brunswick, GA. His siblings Chet Floyd, Douglas Floyd (Denise), Debbie Floyd Jones (David) and Rebecca Floyd Dixon, along with many nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation is to be held 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday, 27th of August 2021 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave., Brunswick, Georgia 31520.

Graveside service will occur 11 a.m. Saturday, 28th of August 2021 at Palmetto Cemetery, 3412 Ross Rd., Brunswick, Georgia where Bishop Corey Pittman is to officiate. Burial will follow the service.

In lieu of customary remembrances contributions may be made in Daniel’s honor to Stacy Floyd or the Floyd family.
