

Daniel “Danny” V. Lovett, 61, of Brunswick, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, September 1, 2012 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Bob McCannon and Rev. Art Cyphers officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery with Randy Taylor, Bobby Taylor, Timmy Taylor, David Kimbrel, Michael Benton, and Mac Lipthratt serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Laager, Dr. Emily Feely and staff, Dr’s. Eller, Bodamer, and Kitchen.
Born June 10, 1951 in Glynn County, Georgia, to the late Rufus Lovett Sr. and Myrtle P. Lovett, he was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1969. Mr. Lovett was a lifelong resident of Glynn County, and a member of Norwich Baptist Church. He was an avid NASCAR Fan, enjoyed UGA Football and flying remote controlled airplanes and racing remote controlled cars. He was retired from the auto transfer and wrecker business.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Sandra K. Lovett of Brunswick, a daughter, Holly Pate and husband Jay of Brunswick, a son Daniel Christopher Lovett of Brunswick, four grandchildren, Kinsley Pate, Connor Pate, Karrigan Pate, and Brock Lovett, a brother, Rufus Lovett Jr., of Uniontown, OH, a sister, Carolyn Jeanette Roberts and husband Jack of Warner Robbins, and his faithful canine companion, Topher.
