Debra Frances Williams

A native of Coffee County, Georgia; Mrs. Williams had been a resident of Glynn County for the past 28 years. Born the 16th of February 1960, she was the daughter of the late Ada Jeanette McMillan Wilson and the late Simmie McCoy Wilson. Mrs. Williams graduated from Brunswick Adult Education and had a career as a caregiver. As a member of First Jordan Grove Baptist church, she dedicated her life to Christ by serving as an usher and on the Deaconess Board. Mrs. Williams was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who loved and supported her family; and never forgot a birthday or a holiday. For those who knew and loved Mrs. Williams, she will be remembered for her great passion for preparing meals, enjoying the pool, the beach, planting flowers as well as being a treasured confidant.

Survivors include her loving husband Glenn Williams, Sr.; eight daughters Gina Fuller and husband Sammy, Kimberly Leggett, Shantell James, Tamika Williams, Roslyn Holland, Sha’ nae Gibbs, Glenda Givens and Joyrie Mclean; six sons Buddy Browning, Jacob Morris, Jerome Walker, Chris Morris, Glenn Williams, JR and wife Danyel, and Roderick Givens; 23 grandchildren ,with one on the way; 8 great- grandchildren; Brother Sputt (Dee) Tucker; Sister Sheila (Troy) Morris and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock on Wednesday, the 29th of March at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home 3321 Glynn Avenue in Brunswick.

A funeral service is to be conducted at 1 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 30th of March, at First Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2004 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, in Brunswick where Pastor John E. Fields is to officiate. Burial will follow by a funeral cortege to Memory Gardens Cemetery Highway 17 Brunswick.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sputt Tucker, Chris Morris, Glenn Williams, Jr., Roderick Givens, Jacob Morris, and Buddy Browning.
