Mr. Floyd was born September 12, 1949 in Bacon County, Georgia and had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 20 years. He loved fishing and hunting. He was a avid photographer.
He was preceded in death by a son Robert Patrick Floyd.
Survivors are his wife, Judy Byars Floyd of Brunswick, two sisters, Shirley Collins of Jacksonville, Fl., and Jackie Gillespie of Gainesville, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Donald’s Life will be held at 11 AM Saturday 11/24/12 at the Altamaha Regional Park with a reception and lunch to follow in the Everett Baptist Church following the Services.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home and Oglethorpe Crematorium in charge of local arrangements.
