Dorothy Nell Lightsey of Brunswick, Georgia passed away peacefully on Friday, June 2nd, 2017 at the age of 92. She was born in Screven, Georgia on October 18th, 1924. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Claudy and Melinda Roberson, her brother Nevian Roberson, and her beloved daughter Dianne Vivenzio, and a great granddaughter Isabella Gracia Paga.
She is survived by her son-in-law Reverend Peter Vivenzio, Jr., her granddaughter Anne Vivenzio Paga and husband David, and her grandson Peter Vivenzio III and wife Laura. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Eliana and Ava Paga, Lydia Grace and Benjamin Vivenzio and Devon Priest.
Dorothy was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Brunswick and very active in her Sunday School Class.
There will be a graveside service at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017 at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Jim Crandall officiating. Memorial contributions in memory of Dorothy Lightsey may be made to the Hospice of the Golden Isles 1692 Glynco Parkway Brunswick, Georgia 31525.
