Douglas McArthur Rowe, Jr. “Buckshot” 53, of Townsend, GA died Friday the 24th of August 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah, GA. Mr. Rowe was born the 28th of December 1959 in McIntosh County, GA to the late Douglas McArthur, Sr. and June Delight Westberry. Mr. Rowe is a lifelong resident of McIntosh County, and carpenter by trade.
Survivors include his wife Mary Francis Rowe of Darien; one brother: William Rowe (Denise) and two sisters: Lynn Warren (Albert) and Monica Rowe all of Darien; and one step son: John Allen. He is also survived by 8 nieces, 6 nephews and one great nephew, who has his special boy, as Buck would say.
He is preceded in death by two siblings: Donnie Rowe and Dale Weaver.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
