Edwin M. Pollard III, 64, of Brunswick, died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Hospice of The Golden Isles. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, October 21, 2010 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
Born in Fulton County Georgia to Edwin Moore Pollard Jr. and Emmitt Jean Smith Pollard he was retired from ILA (International Longshoreman Association) Local 1863 Port of Brunswick. Mr. Pollard was a Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era and was Episcopalian by faith. He was a member of the Coastal Area Gun Club and was an avid hunter. He had been a resident of Brunswick since 1977. He was preceded in death by his father Edwin Moore Pollard Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years Vicki Pollard, a son, Edwin Pollard IV, both of Brunswick, his mother, Emmitt Jean Pollard and a brother, Lorenzo Pollard both of Savannah.
