Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences in the passing of your beloved Liz! I am proud to have known Liz as a friend, peer and coworker with the Texas Forest Service. Liz always brightened up  any room with her smile and unassuming presence. Truly her presence will be missed, but we are assured to once more  meet again!

The first time I meet Liz was at a training program for newly hired foresters with the Texas Forest Service in 1982. I was fortunate to stay in contact with her all these years as we traveled different professional paths.

She always was caring and considerate of all around her.

For the last two years, my wife, who is cancer survivor (multiple times) tried to provide help to navigate the medical treatments and information, and offer a willing listening ear.

I was so sorry to hear of Elizabeth passing. I hired her and worked with her at Pinova. She was so smart and was so nice to work with. When I retired I used to see her walking her dog down Frederica Road on St Simons Island.

I was sad to hear about Elizabeth’s passing.  I enjoyed working with her for several years with Pinova, Inc.  In Brunswick, Georgia.  I will always remember her kind nature and pleasant smile.  I pray that God will bless you with peace which surpasses all understanding.  Blessings!

Dear Tim and Candy:

There was never a moment when Elizabeth didn’t offer a kind smile or a quiet gesture of friendship.  She was the perfect neighbor and my only regret is that I didn’t return the favor as well or get to know her better.  On multiple occasions, if we had to be out of town, she would dog sit for Tucker and Sam and Tucker was afraid of literally everyone, except that is, Elizabeth.   So sorry for her passing but so honored by her quiet and beautiful friendship.

This was First Friday in Brunswick, Ga.  Elizabeth was special to me and I will miss her always. 🙏🏻💜🙏🏻

Elizabeth was such a lovely person. When walking her dogs with the neighborhood crew they always stopped to have a chat. She was most welcoming when I moved into the neighborhood. She will be so missed.

Dear Tim, Candy, family and friends of Ellen,

Deepest condolences on the loss of this most magnificent of human beings. Ellen was strong and brave and smart and kind, and she will be dearly missed. My mother, Ria, Ellen’s aunt in California had a standing 3:00 pm appointment every Sunday where they would talk about the week’s events. My mother told me of the wonderful community that Ellen was a part of there on St. Simons Island in Georgia and the many wonderful friends and memories she made there along with her beloved Jules. Her support system in these recent years of her illness were beyond compare; a testament to the power of friendship and love. Surrounded by her Georgia friends and Tim and Candy, it sounds like she was cradled in that love until she passed away. I regret that we did not make it out there for a visit before she got sick, but especially after her diagnosis. May you all be comforted by sharing in the memories you have of her as you celebrate her life on Wednesday.

I was always so proud to be thought of by her even when the distance was great and the time apart was long.

Aunt Ellen as I called her was the aunt you always wished for as a little girl and the aunt you aspire to be as an adult. Every trip to Texas she came with the little trinkets to share with me that reminded her of me or that she thought I would enjoy. As I got older many times, it was her own personal items she was gifting to me, reminding me how much I reminded her of her young self. I was always the daughter she never had and I took great honor in knowing that.

Aunt Ellen always held me to excellence and was proud to hear about my fast moving career in education and all the ways I was and still am serving others. I never doubted how Aunt Ellen felt about me and later my daughter Savannah when she was born in 2016. I could always feel the joy she had when receiving pictures and updates of all the things happening in Texas. 

I know Georgia loved her well and I am forever grateful that her life was able to be shared with so many there. I will miss her homemade yellow cake with chocolate icing and her homemade burritos but most of all I will miss her unwavering love.

My aunt Ellen will be missed. Everytime I had the chance to speak with her she expressed her deep care for my well being, which I always appreciated. Between the birthday cards and well wishes she always got a kick out of me sending pictures of my daughter Ruby. One of the last phone calls we had together was over an hour long, which I think we both appreciated. We didn’t get to see each other all that often but everytime we did she busted out the signature bean burritos and nachos, that was a staple. RIP Aunt Ellen <3

We enjoyed going to First Friday in Brunswick together.  This was a great time together as friends.  We have a deep hole in our lives with Elizabeth's passing.  She was a great friend. 

We give our deepest condolences to Tim and Candy and wish them many fond memories of Elizabeth.
