Erville Errol Pemberton

Erville Errol Pemberton, age 76, of Brunswick, GA, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. A native of Nevis, West Indies, Erville Errol Pemberton was born on November 26, 1945 and was preceded by death his parents Arnold Hilton Pemberton and Muriel Agatha Pemberton. After graduating from Gingerland Senior School, he went on to study at culinary schools in the Virgin Island where he lived for 12 years prior to relocating to Miami, FL. After 10 years with Aramark, he was transferred from Miami to Brunswick to serve as manager of food services for Hercules. Inc. In 1999, he was appointed to Epworth By-the-Sea Food Service Director and held that position for over 20 years. For nearly 40 years, Erville was dedicated to Aramark, he led Aramark with integrity, honesty, and humility. He profoundly had a positive impact on everyone that he mentored and worked beside him. Everyone was appreciative and thought very highly of Erville and he reciprocated the same kindness and love to them as well.

Erville was devoted to serving the Lord as he fellowshipped with his lovely church family at Emanuel United Methodist Church. He was a devoted father who loved spending time with his family. Through the years he enjoyed playing golf, playing the guitar, and fixing on his 1986 Oldsmobile.

He is survived by three brothers: Everton (Eulyn) Pemberton, Earl (Alexa) Pemberton, and Gary (June Hanley) Pemberton; four sisters: Carlotta Pemberton, Mariney Newton, Sherolyn Pemberton, and Aldris Pemberton-Dias children: Ellsworth Errol (Pauline Industrious) Pemberton, Yolanda Pemberton (preceded by death Donald Leonardo Jr,) Robles, Jessica Pemberton (Craig “Cie” Lloyd), and Gail Pemberton (Allen) Ross; grandchildren: Brandon De Andre Pemberton, Brianna Bernadine Pemberton, Shermona L.M. Robles, Empriss Ianthe Pemberton, Harmoni Desiree Thompson, Allen Luvon Ross Jr., Alani Louise Ross, and Aniyah Lilly Ross, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

To Aramark, Epworth By-the-Sea and Emanual United Methodist Church we extend great gratitude to everyone that loved Erville wholeheartedly.

Erville will truly be remembered for the light God shined on his heart of gold filled with kindness and genuine love that he shared with everyone. We will never forget the light you lit in our lives.

We would love for you to come and honor his life on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave, Brunswick, GA. A Celebration of life will be held on August 20, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Lovely Lane Chapel, 1190 Arthur J Moore Drive, St. Simons, GA. Burial will follow repast at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 245 Ratcliffe Rd, Brunswick, GA, 31523.
