Geraldine Henderson Temple

Geraldine (Gerry) was born in Pansey, Alabama on September 8, 1923 to Vera and Edward Henderson. She grew up on their farm.

She met and married William Alan Temple, a graduate of West Point and young lieutenant in the Army Air Corps. She became a military wife, traveling to different bases around the United States, sharing his career until he retired as a major general in the United States Air Force, and his passing in 2008.

She is survived by her four sons, John Edward Temple (wife, Peggy) of Brunswick, William David Temple (wife, Carol) of Brunswick, Donald Alan Temple (wife, Mary) of Mt. Dora, Fl., Robert Michael Temple (wife, Sheila) of Homassa, Fl., and nine grandchildren: Patrick, Evan, Jayme, Virginia, Theresa, Rebecca, Megan, Austin, and Zachary; and her brother, Jerry Henderson (wife, Linda) of Midland, Al.

A memorial service will be held at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave., Brunswick, Ga. 31520 at 11am, Feb. 20, 2015. Flowers should be sent to this address by Feb. 19, 2015.

A graveside service at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia will be held within 18 weeks as her funeral is scheduled. She will be interred with her husband and her 5th and youngest son, Warren Scott Temple.
