Gladys was a long-time resident of Brunswick and was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church where she attended the Dorcas Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ford Tooke and her parents, Isham and Lillie Smith.
She is survived by her children, Carol Baer, Lamar Tooke, Jerry Tooke and Cyd Johnson; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
The Funeral will be Friday at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
