Helen Fronczak Cunningham Upton, age 94, of St. Simons Island and formerly of New York and Greenwich Connecticut, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at Magnolia Manor on St. Simons Island. Mrs. Upton worked as an executive secretary at Oxford Paper Company in New York City and at New York University in Albany, New York prior to moving to Georgia 10 years ago. She was preceded in death by two husbands; William Cunningham, who died in 1970 and Joseph Upton, who died in 1980; two brothers, Joseph and Stanley and her sister, Vicki.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela H. Cunningham and her grandson, Maximilian Ordemann, both of Savannah.
The funeral mass will be held at St. William Catholic Church on St. Simons Island on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 11:00 am with Monsignor John Kenneally officiating.
