James Horton Gramling

James Horton Gramling of Brunswick entered peacefully into eternal rest at the age of 77 on Friday, August 19, 2022. Jim was born in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late Geneva Horton Gramling and John Kellogg Gramling, Jr. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Gramling.

Jim served his country with honor in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. His career was spent in the Hospitality Industry, owning two restaurants in the Atlanta area, loved to cook and entertain. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and he also had a witty sense of humor that could light up the room. Jim was loved by everyone who knew him.

Left to cherish his many memories are his wife of 42 years, Lynda; his two daughters, Jennifer Mosley (Tim) and Margaret Edwards; a granddaughter, Erika, a grandson, Allen, and a great-granddaughter, Ryleigh; also, a brother, John Kellogg Gramling III. Jim also leaves behind three special canine friends, Mellie, Timmy, and his loving Roxie.

A Celebration of Life Service to honor him will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to Sheltie Rescue of Georgia, Inc.
