John Barber Marlatt was born in Philipsburg, NJ on August 5, 1946 to John and Ruth Marlatt. "Jack" passed away on April 24, 2022 at the age of 75, and is survived by his wife and best friend, Elaine Marlatt; daughter, Stacy (David) Rodenhiser of Sandy Springs, GA, and son Scott Marlatt; grandchildren Carson Craig and Lauren Rodenhiser; and sister, Claudette Pajuelo, Safety Harbor, FL.
He is preceded in death by his mother, father and sister, Barbara.
He cherished his grandchildren, Carson and Lauren, and loved every moment they were around. He was fondly known to his friends and family as "Jack", and was an agent with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Hodnett Cooper.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4th from 2pm until 4 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for contributions to the Glynn County United Way.
