

Julius Scott Deen, 40, of Waynesville, departed this life Saturday, October 1, 2016 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held at 1PM Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Brother Phil Harrrington and Brother Hank Stevenson officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery with Pete Kemp, Gary Turner, Bruce Grimes, Jody Grimes, Keith McMillian, and Ronald Byers. Honorary pallbearers will be Members of Deen Plumbing Softball Team, and Members of Christian Family Center.
Born March 27, 1976 in Brunswick to E. Julius and Joan B. Deen, he was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1994. Mr. Deen was employed with his families plumbing company, Deen Plumbing and was a lifelong resident of Glynn County. He was an avid softball player and also enjoyed fishing. Mr. Deen was a member of Norwich Baptist Church, and attended First Wesleyan Church and Christian Family Center. He was preceded in death by his father Julius Deen and a brother, Jonathan Deen, and father in law, Frank Bristow.
Survivors include his wife, Alicia B. Deen, children, Julia Nicole Deen and Justin Scott Deen, all of Waynesville, his mother, Joan B. Deen of Brunswick, Mother and father in law, Cathy and Jesse Allen of Waycross, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
