Mary Ann was born on October 8, 1938. She worked in her home as a wife and mother. Mary Ann lived a devoted life to God and Jesus as a devout Christian. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church of Brunswick. Mary Ann loved being around her children, grandchildren and great grandchild. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Leroy Herring; mother, Angeronia (Ann) Driggers Poindexter; father, Robert Albert Long; stepfather, John Robert Poindexter, Jr., and a sister-in-law, Elise Mobley.
She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Marie Herring, Kathy Ann Herring Lipthratt (Russell) and Pamela Faith Herring Aultman (Russell), all of Brunswick; a son, Mitchell Harry Herring (Marley Lynn) of West Palm Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Kristen Lipthratt, Chris Nicola, Tim Nicola, Blake Aultman, Mary Faith Aultman (Kevin Soledad) and six great-grandchildren, Scarlett Soledad, Araceli Nicola, Sandy Nicola, Emme Nicola, Dezi Nicola and Daphne Nicola; three brothers, William Ray Long of Jacksonville, FL, Albert Jackson “Jack” Long (Betty) of Savannah and Jerry Dean Long (Crystal) of Savannah; sister-in-law, Louise Morris; brother-in-law Leroy B. Herring (Joan) and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside Service will be held Thursday, February 22, at 2:15 pm at Palmetto Cemetery in Brunswick. Active pallbearers will be Blake Aultman, Russell Aultman, Mitch Herring, Russell Lipthratt and Kevin Soledad.
