Mrs. Arnold was a native of Palestine, Texas and had been a resident of St. Simons for the past 6 years. She was a member of the Romance Writers of American. She was a member of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church on St. Simons Island.
Survivors are her husband Noble Arnold of St. Simons.
Private graveside Services will be held Tuesday in the Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens with Rev. Paul Elbert officiating.
The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Humane Society of Coastal Georgia.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
