Mrs. Underwood was a native of Jesup, Ga. and had been a resident of Glynn County most of her life. She attended the Sterling Church of God of Prophecy in Brunswick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyley, Underwood, Jr., her mother, Nellie Popwell, her father, Frank Popwell and two brothers, Carl Popwell and Darvin Popwell.
Survivors are a daughter, Jackie Baxley (Butch) of Brunswick, a son, Wyley Underwood, III of Brunswick, grandsons, Wyley Underwood, IV and Cody Baxley both of Brunswick, a brother, Pete Popwell of Brunswick and a sister, Barbara Poppell (Barry) of Brunswick.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 AM Friday from the Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. J. W. Griffin officiating, The family will receive friends in the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home from 7 to 9 PM Thursday.
