Becca was born at Brunswick Hospital, on March 14, 1992, the daughter of Melody Hitt Allen and the late Thomas Charles Allen, Jr., both of St. Simons Island. Coming from a large close-knit family, Becca was always surrounded by her sisters and cousins growing up. As a child, Becca participated in many activities including dance and soccer. She kept several childhood friendships throughout the course of her life. Today she has countless friends, family & colleagues who love her deeply. Anyone could rely on her for a good laugh, a shoulder to cry on, or a word of encouragement.
In 2010, Becca met her husband, Jonathan Braye Wynn. They were wed on Saint Simons Island in December 2014. Rebecca was a beautiful and devoted mother. J.B. and Braye meant everything to her. Motherhood was something that brought her a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment. Grieving the loss of their first son, Allen Braye or “Ab”, lead Becca to become a light in the dark and a hand to hold for other families struggling with pregnancy and infant loss. It became a cause that meant a great deal to her, and there are numerous people who can attest to the love and understanding she gave them.
Becca was also devoted to her craft as a stylist at B.Lush Salon+Spa on St. Simons, where she made people feel beautiful inside and out. She was known as the local “Blonde Guru” and especially loved pampering brides on their wedding days. Another of Becca’s passions was cooking up some feasts in “Chef Becky’s Kitchen.” She also loved her dogs Cole and Butler immensely.
There are too many-splendored gifts to list that Rebecca gave to us all. Each of us holds space in our hearts for her, just as she did for everyone she knew. She will be deeply missed by all who love her.
