Rilla Ann Roberts Vann

Mrs. Rilla Vann 61 of Brunswick passed away at her residence Sunday, June 30, 2013. In honor of Mrs. Vann a public visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Following the visitation and beginning at 4:00 PM Wednesday, will be a memorial service in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with the Reverend Earl Parrish officiating.

Mrs. Vann is the daughter of William Howard Roberts and the late Peggie Ann McKeever Roberts. She was born on the 20th day of October, 1951, in the City of Detroit, Michigan. After leaving Michigan, Mrs. Vann moved to Florida where she enjoyed many years of her life working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lake City Extended Care Nursing Facility. After leaving Florida, Mrs. Vann relocated to Brunswick where she has resided for three years.

Mrs. Vann was preceded in death by her mother Peggie Roberts and her sister Roberta Garrison.

Mrs. Vann’s survivors include a spouse of thirty-nine years, Charles Vann of Brunswick, five children; Kelly Jean Spinks of Lancaster, SC, John Pauly Spinks (Miranda) of Liveoak, FL, Loretta L. Mitchell (Ernest) of Townsend, GA, Charles Vann, Jr., of Lake City, FL and Leonia Leeann King (Michael) of Texas; seventeen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother Howard Roberts of Michigan; three sisters, Linda Whitman of Michigan, Nancy Roberts of Tennessee and Judy Kincy of Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers the family of Mrs. Vann requests memorial contributions to be sent to Heartland Hospice of Brunswick, GA.

The service arrangements for Mrs. Vann, have been entrusted to Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home and Oglethorpe Crematorium.
